Exfoliating Lava Stone
Exfoliating Lava Stone
Use this lava stone to exfoliate your dead skin away! Known traditionally as a type of pumice stone, lava stones are formed when lava from volcanoes flows into water. When hot lava and cool water meet, it instantly turns into stone and is perfect for a light, yet abrasive exfoliator! This natural lava stone helps tremendously with tough foot calluses and helps to increase blood flow and regenerate new skin cells when used all over the body. This practice is key in my self-care ritual.
How To Use:
After a long day, soak your feet for 10 minutes. Scrub your heels and toes with the lava stone and brush off the dead skin. Dry off, and massage feet with our raw body butter before going to bed. Cover your feet with socks, and the next morning youβll wake up with baby soft feet. This stone is also great for removing dry skin and unwanted discoloration on your knees and elbows. I strongly recommend using our Flower Power Bath Salts to soak before exfoliating you body.
To get longer use from your lava stone, we recommend sterilizing it to eliminate bacteria. Your feet carry lots of toxins, so itβs important to keep your stone clean. You can either soak your stone in boiling water, or in a bleach or detergent solution for 5-10 minutes. Rinse and allow the stone to dry before using again.
